Subscription rates for 2008/09 have now been approved and
are set out below. There has been an increase of 50p in the EBU element for full
members and clubs; all other rates are unchanged. Subscriptions are due on 1st
April 2008, but as usual, renewal notices will be sent out with the February
issue of “English Bridge”.
Two points to note:
From 2008 renewal notices will ask members to remit to the EBU in Aylesbury and
not to the County Membership Secretary. This will not apply to dual members.
A proposal that subscriptions for those NOT paying by Direct Debit should be
increased by an extra £2.00 has been dropped. Members are encouraged to pay by
Direct Debit as it does reduce the workload.
