These are county organised competitions aimed at new and inexperienced
bridge players and regular club players who want to play in a relaxed environment. We make
special efforts to ensure that the events take place in a friendly atmosphere and so, no
matter how inexperienced you feel you are, you can be sure of a warm welcome. The county
reserves the right to refuse entry to more experienced players whose presence might alter
the nature of the event (specifically, players who as a pair have won a
main County Event, or won two Friendly Events, or play regularly in Divisions 1
or 2 of the League of 8, or both have 10 or more Green Points).
